about timi rößing

The young artist Timi Rößing, born in Mannheim in 2004, has been in close contact with modern art from birth through his grandfather Dieter Hasselbach, who is active in the Kunsthalle Mannheim. The greatest influence on his work is the joys of life in all its forms. Themes such as lust, love, celebration, sun and sea appear again and again in varying forms.

His art is figurative, colorful and relaxed. In the development of his style, the internationally successful artist Stefan Szczesny, who took Timi by the hand during an internship as an apprentice, was formative in the development of his style. Rößing is also preoccupied with criticism of current politics and the present day, although these works are only shared on social media and in catalogs. They never reach the market, however, as Timi wants to sell joie de vivre and does not want people to hang problems on their walls.
